A bold find in lime green and white plaid

This Eri silk shawl is made by Baphinbha, a small studio near Shillong run by sisters Baphinbha and Labynta Rynjah. Each piece is handwoven in Meghalaya using traditional techniques that celebrate both craftsmanship and comfort.

This version stands out with a vivid lime green and white plaid — a contemporary colour choice that adds brightness and energy. While this piece is dyed using standard dyes, it still carries the slow process and care of handweaving, from yarn to finish.

Eri silk feels like something between wool and cotton — soft, breathable, and gentle on your skin. It’s spun from open-ended cocoons, making it a cruelty-free and sustainable alternative to conventional silk.

Whether you wear it for warmth, style, or meaning, this shawl is made to last — and to be loved.

Size: 202 × 60 cm

wash & care

Eri silk is breathable and doesn’t trap odors like many other fabrics — which means you can wear it many times between washes.

If needed, hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water (max 20°C) with a mild detergent.
Avoid soaking for too long. Gently press to rinse — do not twist.
Lay flat to dry in the shade.
