Our shawls and beanies are made from natural fibres: eri silk, yak wool, cashmere and merino wool. They take care of themselves better than you might think.

Let your shawls and beanies breathe between wears – they rarely need washing. Wool doesn't hold on to odours, so just hang your piece outside in the fresh air for a while when it needs freshening up. store them folded or lying flat, and avoid hangers and direct sunlight.

when it's time to wash

• hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water (max 20 °C)
• use a mild detergent
• don't leave it to soak for too long
• rinse gently – don't wring or squeeze
• dry flat in the shade, preferably on a towel
• iron on low heat with a cloth in between
• avoid bleach and tumble dryers
• for difficult stains, use a dry cleaner experienced with natural fibres

With a little care, your piece will stay beautiful for many years.
