Collection: yak wool shawls – extraordinary by nature

Our yak shawls are handwoven in Nepal — made from the wool of yaks living high in the Himalayan highlands, where altitude and cold have shaped one of nature's most remarkable fibres.

Soft as cashmere. Warmer than merino. And completely undyed — the deep, earthy browns you see are the natural colour of the animal itself.

Yak wool is still almost unknown in Europe. We carry just two shawls — one in dark brown, one in lighter brown — both rare, both made with the same care and craft as everything at Khoj Vrångö.
