This merino wool shawl is handwoven by Friendly Export — a small studio in Kathmandu, Nepal, working with local artisans using traditional techniques and ultrafine merino yarns.
The fibres are among the softest in the world — just 17.5 microns or less — so fine that only four shawls can be woven in a day. Dyed with indigo and myrobalan, the gentle green tone adds balance and depth with an earthy feel.

Merino is breathable and doesn’t trap odors like many other fabrics — which means you can wear it many times between washes.
If needed, hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water (max 20°C) with a mild detergent.
Avoid soaking for too long. Gently press to rinse — do not twist.
Lay flat to dry in the shade.

Orders are packed with care in a a beautiful textile bag made of recycled saris and then in an envelope of handmade Lokta paper.
We always aim to ship your order within 1–2 business days.
If you are not fully happy with your purchase, you are welcome to contact us within 14 days of delivery. We accept returns on unused products in their original condition.
Return shipping costs are covered by the customer. Once the returned item has been received and approved, a refund will be issued for the product price.
