A rare find in warm walnut brown

This Eri silk shawl is made by Baphinbha, a small studio in Shillong run by sisters Baphinbha and Labynta Rynjah. Each piece is handwoven in Meghalaya using traditional techniques and locally rooted dye practices — some passed down orally through generations.

This version comes in a rich, earthy brown tone — naturally dyed with tea leaves, giving it a soft, lived-in warmth. The solid colour brings out the gentle texture of the handspun silk, making it an easy everyday piece with natural warmth.

Eri silk feels like something between wool and cotton — soft, breathable, and gentle on your skin. It’s spun from open-ended cocoons, making it a cruelty-free and sustainable alternative to conventional silk.

Whether you wear it for warmth, style, or meaning, this shawl is made to last — and to be loved.

Size: 202 × 60 cm
